So- Last chance to get caught up - next week we will be moving forward with Movie Pitch. Some future aspects of the project- Coming soon: -How accurate will your movie be? -Why would audiences want to see this? -Who will direct? Who will star in it? Welcome to the 4th quarter!! I gave you a final grade for the 3rd quarter - Your first 3 steps! Not sure if I told you this story- But I had the idea for Patriot's Day before the movie really came out! Try to watch Patriot's Day this week! It does a great job of re-creating events from those days. I remember thinking as the manhunt for the bombers took place- this is like a Hollywood movie! (I really was going to title it Patriot's Day- and I really thought of Mark Wahlberg as my star!) Here is my first three steps I created - long before the movie actually came out! No lie!
Notice I provided outside links- and a primary source!

Tuesday April 14th we will pick up from there! OK- Slides 1+2 are due today!
Slide 1: Intro- Production Company Logo Slide 2: Movie Idea/Name Next up: Slide 3+4- HISTORY behind the story: Hello Film peeps!!!
Looked through your shared Google Slide decks- Some amazing looking Movie production company logos! Really cool! Looks like many of you need more time on your Movie Idea. So you have until tomorrow to have first two slides done- See previous posts for requirements. Still having tough time coming up with an idea? What event in History has Hollywood not covered...or covered poorly? Tip- Not good enough to say World War II. Find a story within WWII. Example: Unbroken- it is set during WWII but is an amazing story of Louis Zamperini who ran in the Olympics, was stranded at sea for many days, survived a Japanese internment camp, etc! Still stuck- Try Histography. Click on a dot - that could be a movie! Email me with ay questions! |
